The PractiMan Plus CPR Training Manikin is an adult and child CPR trainer supplied with a wireless electronic feedback monitor. It is designed for CPR and BLS instructors, medical and nursing colleges, hospitals, paramedic institutes, first-aid training centres and organisations that require objective assessment of CPR performance.
During training, the wireless monitor provides real-time information about chest-compression rate, compression depth and chest recoil. Instructors can use the live feedback to help students correct their technique or select blind mode for assessment without displaying the results during practice.
Manufactured in Spain by Vicedo Martí, the PractiMan Plus combines portable construction, adult and child training modes, a replaceable breathing system and measurable CPR feedback in one professional training solution.
Real-Time Electronic CPR Feedback
The supplied wireless monitor evaluates the principal elements of chest-compression performance and displays feedback while the trainee practises.
- Chest-compression rate
- Compression depth
- Complete chest recoil or decompression
- Adult or child training setting
- Post-training performance report
This allows instructors to identify technique errors immediately and gives trainees objective information that cannot be obtained from an audible clicker alone.
Adult and Child CPR Training Modes
The PractiMan Plus is a two-in-one CPR training manikin that can be configured for adult or child CPR practice. The selected setting is identified on the monitor, allowing instructors to conduct different age-based training scenarios using one portable torso manikin.
Please note: The child mode is not intended for infant CPR training. A dedicated infant CPR manikin such as PractiBaby or PractiBaby Plus should be used for infant resuscitation practice.
Standard and Blind Assessment Modes
In standard mode, trainees can view the electronic feedback and adjust their compression technique during practice. Blind mode allows the instructor to conceal the live results and evaluate the trainee's unaided CPR performance.
The monitor can generate a test report after the session, making the manikin suitable for structured skills practice, demonstrations and competency assessments.
Airway and Rescue-Ventilation Practice
In addition to chest-compression training, the PractiMan Plus supports airway-opening and rescue-ventilation practice. Trainees can practise head tilt, chin lift and jaw-thrust techniques while observing chest rise when ventilation is delivered correctly.
The exclusive breathing system incorporates a functional nose and replaceable respiratory components for realistic and manageable group-training sessions.
Hygienic Replaceable Breathing System
The manikin uses replaceable lung bags and a non-return valve system. The lung system helps instructors prepare the manikin for repeated classes while limiting contamination of the internal mechanism.
Under normal training conditions, one lung may be used for a complete group session provided that it remains dry and undamaged. It should be replaced if it becomes moist, damaged or loses air.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the PractiMan Plus monitor measure?
The wireless monitor provides real-time feedback for chest-compression rate, compression depth and complete chest recoil or decompression.
Does it detect incorrect hand position?
Hand-position detection is not listed as a monitor function for this model. The instructor should observe and correct the trainee's hand placement during practice.
Does the monitor measure ventilation rate or volume?
The monitor is designed primarily to provide feedback on chest-compression rate, depth and recoil. Correct ventilation can be assessed through airway technique and visible chest rise.
Can it be used for both adult and child CPR training?
Yes. The PractiMan Plus offers selectable adult and child CPR settings in one torso manikin.
What is blind mode?
Blind mode hides the live performance feedback during practice. This allows the instructor to assess the trainee without the trainee correcting their technique by watching the monitor.
Does it provide a report after training?
Yes. The electronic monitor can provide a test report after the training session for reviewing CPR performance.
Can jaw thrust be practised?
Yes. The PractiMan Plus supports jaw-thrust practice in addition to head tilt, chin lift and rescue ventilation.
Can it be used with an AED trainer?
Yes. It can be used for AED pad-placement demonstrations and combined CPR and AED training scenarios.
Is it suitable for medical and nursing colleges?
Yes. It is suitable for CPR and BLS skills training, demonstrations and assessments in medical colleges, nursing colleges, hospitals and simulation laboratories.
Can institutions request a formal quotation?
Yes. Colleges, hospitals, training centres and other organisations can request a formal quotation, proforma invoice, GST documentation and estimated dispatch schedule.
