Suctioning via tracheostomy and oropharynx: catheter sizing, depth marking, negative-pressure limits, and complication avoidance (hypoxemia, mucosal trauma).
Stoma care—peristomal skin inspection, dressing change, tracheostomy tie/twill tape replacement with two-person technique.
Humidification and heat-moisture exchanger (HME) handling; speaking valve trial and contraindications.
Recognition and management of common problems: mucus plugging, tube displacement/decannulation, cuff leak, bleeding, skin breakdown.
Safe oxygen delivery and bag–valve ventilation via tracheostomy.
Parent/caregiver education and discharge skills for pediatric patients.
Adult trainer: life-like skin and tracheal segment with replaceable stoma insert; accepts standard tracheostomy tubes; visible anatomy for teaching cuff position and tube depth.
Infant trainer: neonatal proportions with tracheostomy site and securement points; ideal for pediatric nursing/RT competencies and home-care instruction.
Patent airways compatible with standard suction catheters and HMEs.
Durable, latex-free PVC/silicone; wipe-clean surfaces for high-throughput labs.
